In this clip from The Call @ Hedgeye, Consumables analyst Howard Penney and Chief Political Strategist JT Taylor continue their discussion on the Republican cannabis legislation bill to be introduced by Rep. Nancy Mace of South Carolina, and how it could be passed with bipartisan support.

“If you are a HedgEye On The Prize player and you want to take a bet on Cannabis it might be a great time to do that,” exclaims Penney. “If the NDA goes in, it’s going to set off just a massive rally in Cannabis, and it’s really up to Schumer.”

“I think what Schumer and the Democrats will likely do is take elements of the Mace bill that could garner support from Republicans on the Senate side,” notes Taylor. “If Schumer were smart he’d look to Mace on Monday to see what he could get from there.”
